As Bros, Luke, with his twin brother Matt and Scotsman Craig Logan, scored eight UK hits, including When Will I Be Famous? and I Owe You Nothing.

Later Luke pursued an stage career, which included the musical version of the Ed Wood film Plan 9 From Outer Space, touring in the musical What A Feeling, and starring in the West End production of Grease.

In Blade 2, he will play a reaper – vampires with such a bloodlust that they attack other vampires. An industry source said: “It’s a big break for Luke. He’s had smaller roles in the past, but Blade 2 is a real catch. This might be the picture that rockets him into the big league.”
