Christmas Love for my WONDERFUL SUPPORTERS

I finally got home after working crazy hard at the gym for my new movie….Oh, I still didn’t mention what movie did I? running around like all of us at this time of year, cooked (i think the best steak in my part of town) made a bad ass martini, (filthy) of course!!
I wanted to tell you all something……I have been in this business in one shape or another for 20 years (yikes I sound like an old Ba@!#$$#) and the support I have seen in the last few years with the help of my dear friend Jeri, is so giving and supportive I needed to tell you. I have never felt such love and kindness than I do at this point in my career. You are wonderful and truly make this boy feel blessed for having your energy in my life.
I wish every one of you a beautiful Christmas and Holiday time where you can all get ready for the amazing Blessed, Healthy and prosperous 2010!!! 2009 was a testing year, but I was told that in the Mayan calendar, this was the year of the storm and hard for all. This year is the year of the Seed, and if you plant them you WILL flourish in 2010. I don’t know how much you believe in this stuff, but what I do know is when there is information like this, it is something to feel positive about, that is half the battle. So, that said, i wish that your year ahead is TRULY blessed. I am so grateful to have you all as a part of my journey and want to wish you all

OK! YOU NEVER STOP MAKING ME ADORE YOU ALL MORE AND MORE!
I LOOOOVE! THE CARD, MADE ME LAUGH, I MEAN OUT LOUD.
THE MOVIE IN CHINA WENT REAL WELL, LOOKS GREAT AND THE CREW AND CAST WERE WONDERFUL.
DIRECTOR WAS REAL TALENTED, I THINK HE WILL PUT TOGETHER A GREAT LOOKING MOVIE.
LOST A FEW POUNDS, WELL 7 TO BE PRECISE, EATING WITH CHOP STICKS IS THE NEW SECRET DIET….WOW, THE “IN AND OUT” BURGER WHEN I GOT HOME WAS MUCH NEEDED.

What can I say…..You can’t underestimate the LukeGossForum Crew!!! I was moving into my new place and got a Text message saying congrats on the Noms, I was like….”what noms” and that sounds like more than one. Then I got another sms, I then got a call from my manager David Wood telling me about the MTV nominations. Truly shocked and incredibly thankful to my wonderful fans for voting like crazy to get them for me. I am so very lucky to have you. Q&A Luke Answers Fan’s Latest Questions

Okay here’s a question that I’d like to ask Luke:

For any gamer fan one of the most important aspects of game-to-movie adaptation is whether the film is faithful and respectful to its source material (games).

Mortal Kombat (1995) film is regarded as one of the best video game adaptations by the gamer fans and non-fans alike; due to its story being fairly faithful to the games and visual elements being adapted well from the movie.

How much of a faithful adpatation do you think this movie is to the games (in regards to story and visual elements)? Do you think this film has potential to surpass the Mortal Kombat film??

I do feel this movie translates the game to film very cleverly. The game takes place primarily in the ring, the movie mixes story and the fighting in a very cool way. Mortal Kombat is a great movie, I am very proud of what we all did with Tekken, Being a gamer myself and a huge fan of Tekken , I think you are gonna love it!!

Luke why did you change your tattoo? What did the old one stand for or mean to you? What does your new panther tattoo mean to you now?

The old tattoo was a ying yang, it was surrounded by thorns to protect my balance. Over the years the ying yang got blurred because it was too small. It didn’t feel like me any more, it was almost as if I had no fear of losing my balance so why have it there.

The Panther represents strength, power and the rights of people, the masses or the individual, I put the word Compassion under the Panther so it would be standing on that word. I wanted the symbol of them together because power and strength without compassion is a very different force. Compassion is also without doubt my favorite word and is also my foundation.

I wanted to leave the old one under and not have a laser remove it. I wanted it as an evolution rather than a mistake.
