We’d like to bring your attention to a movie that seems very capable of kicking all our asses next year. It’s an old-school revenge thriller called BLOOD OUT, and it features an ensemble that should certainly have y’all salivating: Luke Goss (also soon to be seen in DEATH RACE 2), Val Kilmer, Vinnie Jones, Tamer Hassan, Ed Quinn, hottie AnnaLynne McCord and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. You know you want to see this…

Producer-Director Jason Hewitt was kind enough to furnish us with these exclusive stills you see; they give you a behind-the-scenes look at actor Luke Goss being directed by Hewitt for a couple of the flick’s many sequences of gut-punching action.

Now feast your eyes on the juicy synopsis: Accomplished martial arts master and proverbial good cop Michael Savion (Luke Goss) is visited by his estranged, gang- banging younger brother David. David passionately appeals to Michael for help to escape the gang world so he can marry the love of his life. Michael reluctantly agrees, but when David goes to retrieve his bride-to-be, he is ambushed by his own gang and brutally murdered by their leader, Zed (Vinnie Jones), in an enforcement of the gang’s mantra: “blood out”. A frustrated Michael is stonewalled by Detective Hardwick (Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson), who dismisses the crime as gang-on-gang violence. Michael decides to go rogue in order to infiltrate the gang and seek justice for his dead brother. Along the way, he encounters the sadistic, perverted Elias (Tamer Hassan) and a beautiful, enigmatic love interest, Anya (AnnaLynne McCord), both involved with sinister human trafficking and ruthless blood sport. The villainous, international gang leader Arturo (Val Kilmer) arrives and Michael is forced into a brutal and gut wrenching battle with the powerful Hector (Bobby Lashley). They embark on a high- octane chase when Zed kidnaps David’s pregnant girlfriend, putting her, our hero, and his late brother’s unborn child in grave peril.

BLOOD OUT is due to hit the UK in early February and the US in April; until then, we’re definitely going to be keeping you in the know as we lead up to its unveiling. Also, be sure to keep your ears open for a chat with director Jason Hewitt in next week’s installment of the ARROW IN THE HEAD PODCAST!
