What was your most challenging role so far; emotionally & physically?
Have you ever turned down a movie you wished you had done?
When in the make up chair for hours how do you stop yourself from getting bored?
What movie so far have you enjoyed filming the most?
How was Louisiana?
Jeri
A: Hellboy 2 because of the hours in makeup and intensity of the Character, but for GDT I would do it any day of the week.
No I haven’t ……. there are a few I wish I hadn’t done!!
It’s not about boredom in the makeup chair, you just have to be patient and stay in a good mood
Fav movies so far Hellboy 2 and One Knight with The King
The People in Louisiana for sure make the place, they know how to have fun.
Hello Luke, I want to ask a question. How in the world do you keep a straight face when filming The Man with the actor Eugene Levy? I watched the movie I could see that you really wanted to laugh. You did a great job containing yourself. What good actors do LOL.
candygirl2
A: I new I couldn’t compete with Eugene’s comedic talent ..I knew why I was there …to be the straight guy
Hey,
Do you ever just get tired of all the fame and people who stop you on the street?
I know that I would. I do not know how you sane with all the things you have to deal with on a daily basis.
Loni
A: It happens but not as much as when I was in music but meeting people that are happy to see you will always be a breath of fresh air in my day, that simple
I was wondering, how hard do you have to work at staying in shape?
Were you just ’born lucky’ (good genes, I mean) wink.gif or do you have to work at it a lot?
Is there a particular regimen you follow, or is it just a matter of staying active?
What is your favorite way to work out? Weights? Martial Arts? Pilates?
What advice would you give to someone who is trying to get in shape?
Thanks and hugs,
~Darlene
A: I have to train everyday and still wish I looked better. I love weights and Martial arts, not a big fan of cardio unless I am training with weapons or fight training, To stay in shape keep the carbs low, water high, train hard but play hard because without fun it’s just boring.
What is the best advice you have ever been given as an actor?
Have you ever been so swept away in the moment during a scene that you stopped acting and just went on instinct..the motions or line just felt so natural or felt real? What Movie and scene?
If you had the chance to re-create any scene from any movie, What would it be, who would be and why?
snow
A: Best advise..listen. That’s pretty much what I do I don’t believe in acting I believe in being, acting is what saves you in a technical driven shot.
Luke,
**You’ve had the opportunity to work with some fantastic actors…..what others do you admire and who would be your ’dream cast’ to work with?
**You’ve had some challenging scenes in your movies…..what is hardest for you?
darlene
A: I would love to work with Clint Eastwood, Robert De niro, Denzel Washington, Morgan Freeman and Russel crow.Without a doubt the most challenging scene I’ve done is the cactus scene in Bone Dry
Hi Luke,
I was wondering if you did every single one of the fighting scenes in Hellboy 2?
How challenging was it to you physically? As I heard you say that, you train in the gym 7 hours a day.
If I may say, it looks pretty damn amazing ….saw the trailer.
Kudos!
asian
A: I’m always active in every fight scene I had a great stunt team to work with on Hellboy 2 I had nine weeks to train…. for some of the stunts required I would have needed nine years!!
Hello, Luke
I would like to know if you are a religious person? After this movie (One night with the king) you became more closely to the truth of the Bible?
With respect, Valentina from Romania.
A: I hope this does not offend. I love worship and adore God but I am not religious. I have seen more examples of God within the human spirit and body than I have in church, I always say I don’t believe in God, I know in God!
favorite color?
favorite type of music?
most favorite place you have ever visited?
what attracts you the most to the opposite sex?
How many Languages do you speak?
pandora
A: Clothes and in my home Chocolate, in my mind Blue. Because of my beginnings I like all kinds of music,it’s about the right music for the time and the place. India is my fav place. Everything about the opposite sex is bloody perfect. I Tourist speak in a few Languages, my bad, I will learn French and Spanish
Luke what colognes do you put on ?
karen
A: Creed (Green Irish Tweed)
Are you looking for an “Oscar” role, or are you just content in being a working actor?
sweet
A: I’ll Always strive to be more than….just…. a working actor. If I decide personally the role is Oscar worthy, I am being a snob about my role and I will have lost my way, every role is worthy of great effort
When he coming to London UK???? We over here Miss him to!!!!
Lisa
A: I think you do and I thank you ….truly, but I think you need to spread the word.
Here are my questions:
Would you act on any movie that would cause you to compromise on your standards, beliefs and morals?
How did acting on “One Night with the King” impact or change your life?
How are you able to differentiate between the characters you act and the real Luke Goss?
What are the differences between Luke Goss from King Xerxes?
What are the similarities between Luke Goss and King Xerxes?”
Busisgotit
A: I try not to compromise. One Night with The king showed me and the people around me that I could play a romantic lead, sometimes playing the bad guy doesn’t help. Sometimes you lose yourself in a role I guess it’s the curse and joy of acting. Love this Question but we would need three pages to answer it, be sure to ask me in person
If I could have time to talk to him and not worry about running out of time and not worry about if he’s thinking I’m an idiot, I might ask. and not in the order of most important to me. . .
What about you is the most important thing for your fans to know about you?
Will you please explain the ending to Unearthed?
What’s the difference between the way you felt during your success in Bros and your success as an actor?
Where did you learn martial arts?
If you’re filming and make-up all day when do you have time to work out?
Off the top of my head and living in a dream world here:
Do you know how much we love you?
Do you read our letters?
Do you forgive easily?
Advice for being successful? — not famous — successful? KAM
A: Unearthed ..I died, Emmanuel died and the monster died………..we shouldn’t have. I was a deer caught in the headlights as a young boy in Bros, now I am a man thankfully savoring every moment, this is what I should be doing. I’ve been very lucky being taught Martial arts making movies…I love it. When I am filming I don’t get time, training is done before principle photography and on days off and weekends. No I don’t know how much you love me…I am saying this so I get to hear it more ..it’s all about the love right! I read as many of your letters as I can. I Have put a few hours aside this week to sign pictures and read them. Yes I do forgive easily because than it becomes a moment and not a melodrama, also I only have the right to forgive.
I think success is judged second by second. Most people look at it related to money and position. But I have learned that if it is not related to who you are, It is almost impossible to enjoy it. My advice would be, try to be the best you can within YOUR limitations, because that is enough. If you are doing something you love, doing it well, regardless of it’s celebration…..you are a success. Simply though, I always say try to be the best you can be, so when you get that moment to shine……’YOU WILL KICK A$$!”
Luke xxx
