Question of the Week! On Tekken

For any gamer fan one of the most important aspects of game-to-movie adaptation is whether the film is faithful and respectful to its source material (games).
Mortal Kombat (1995) film is regarded as one of the best video game adaptations by the gamer fans and non-fans alike; due to its story being fairly faithful to the games and visual elements being adapted well from the movie.
How much of a faithful adpatation do you think this movie is to the games (in regards to story and visual elements)? Do you think this film has potential to surpass the Mortal Kombat film??
I do feel this movie translates the game to film very cleverly. The game takes place primarily in the ring, the movie mixes story and the fighting in a very cool way. Mortal Kombat is a great movie, I am very proud of what we all did with Tekken, Being a gamer myself and a huge fan of Tekken , I think you are gonna love it!!

Wow.nice to see you drop by. I'm glad to hear it's been given a bit more storyline, though the fight sequences are surely the main interest for many.
Looking forward to seeing it with my gamer geek associates to see how they'll view it (Okay, I confess, the only video game I've tried is this Wolverine
thing for XBox. Have you played that? The part where he attacks the helicopter??? Gak!)
Take care.
